While it is not clear if they maintained a long-distance relationship since Rizzo was residing in Chicago and Vakos was living in Arizona, the duo made it work and by 2017 were engaged. Just over a year later, the duo made things official with a wedding in Anthony Rizzo’s hometown on the 29th of December, 2018. The couple exchanged marital vows in a star-studded event that featured many high-profile people, including many of his present and former teammates and country singer Brett Eldredge.
Do They Have Any Children?
Anthony Rizzo and Emily Vakos are not yet parents. The couple has been rumored to have a daughter but they are yet to start a family of their own. Anthony and Emily have also been pictured with their nephews and nieces which has created more confusion.
Other than children, the couple have a dog they named Kevin. Photos of Kevin can be seen all over social media as the Rizzos treat him very much like their child. The family previously maintained an apartment in Chicago but now resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
