Jim Harbaugh is an American football coach currently serving as the head coach of the University of Michigan’s Wolverines team. A former quarterback who played in the NFL for 14 seasons, Harbaugh comes from a family of football enthusiasts. His father Jack was a coach and so is his older brother John, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens.

Miah and Jim are believed to have first crossed paths in 1990 at a golf tourney in Orlando. As the story goes, Jim saw her from across the room and went to introduce himself. He told her that he was an NFL quarterback but Miah did not believe him. They would however later exchange contacts and meet up the next day for lunch.
What followed next was an on-again, off-again relationship that started in 1991 and lasted for five years before they got married in 1996. Jim and Miah Harbaugh exchanged vows at a private ceremony held in the Hilton Waikoloa. The duo subsequently moved in together and wasted no time in starting a family of their own.

Jay was born in San Diego in 1989. He played football at Oregon State University as a defensive lineman but a knee injury ended his career. James Harbaugh was born after his parents got married in September 1996. Unlike his older brother and dad, James isn’t interested in sports. He attended the University of Michigan where he was a theatre major and was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Directing. In 2016, the young man came out to his father as gay and received full support from him.

Grace was born on June 27, 2000, four years after James came into the world. Like most members of her family, she is an athlete. She plays water polo at the University of Michigan where she was a history of art major.
Jim and Miah Divorced in 2006
Jim Harbaugh’s devotion to football is believed to have been the reason his first marriage collapsed. He did not have time for his family and so he and his wife began to drift apart. They would eventually get divorced in 2006. Miah and the kids subsequently moved to Coronado, California where she lived a private life away from the media that her husband’s career attracted.

Before meeting Jim, Miah worked as a waitress. She is believed to have a degree in paralegal studies but it is not clear if she ever got to put it into use. Throughout her time with Jim, she was a stay-at-home mom, looking over the home as her husband concentrated on his career.
