Molly Ackerman is a Native of Colorado
Molly Ackerman and her husband may have made their home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but she is originally from Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Crosby’s wife was born on the 6th of October, 1984, making her about 30 days younger than her husband who was born a month earlier on the 3rd of September.

Lillian Cheryl and Charles Dan Ackerman are today known as Molly’s parents and rightly so. The Ackerman’s raised Molly after they adopted her as a nine-month-old. Molly was given up for adoption by her biological mother who had her when she was very young. Speaking about it, Molly has said that she holds no grudges against her biological mother as she made the correct decision to give up a child she could not fend for.
The Ackerman’s would go ahead to raise Molly alongside a sister named Robyn Sarah Cuffman.
Ackerman Met Her Future Husband in College
Molly Ackerman attended Glenwood High where she graduated in 2004. She subsequently enrolled at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she studied Chinese Language and Civilization. As part of her course study, Molly had to spend a summer in China where she learned to read and write Mandarin.
Molly was not all focused on her studies at Colorado as she was part of her school’s cheerleading team. It was through this that she met and began dating Mason Crosby who played on the Colorado Buffaloes football team from 2003 to 2006. While Crosby did not play any of the flamboyant positions on the team (Quarterback, Runningback, etc), he was a very talented placekicker with extraordinary leg strength and an important member of the team. He would go on to become Colorado’s all-time leading scorer, with 308 career points, and holds 31 school records.
