1. Maria Fassi is the Only Daughter of Her Parents
Maria Fassi was born on the 25th of March, 1998, making her a member of Generation Z. Her birth was recorded in the Mexican city of Pachuca in the state of Hidalgo. She was born into the family of Fabiana and Andres Fassi. While details of her parents are not known to the public, we know she is not their only child. Maria has two older brothers, Sebastian and Juan Pablo, and a younger brother named Franco.

Having made a name for herself on the amateur circuit, Maria Fassi gained a lot of scholarship offers to attend universities both in the United States and in her home country. According to the golfer herself, she had started getting letters of interest from NCAA schools by the age of fourteen. It was therefore not much of a surprise that she ended up moving up north to the USA and chose the University of Arkansas.
It is said that Maria was propelled to attend the school by fellow Mexican golfer Gaby Lopez. The two became close friends after meeting and playing against each other a number of times on the youth and amateur circuit in Mexico.

Maria Fassi admits that she is trying her best to follow in the footsteps of Lorena Ochoa, a former professional Mexican golfer who was the top-ranked female golfer in the world from April 2007 to May 2010 when she retired.
Lorena is Maria’s role model and she says the golf great who was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2017, inspires her to to work hard and chase her dreams.
7. Maria Fassi Has Amassed A Net Worth Estimated to be Between $1 Million and $5 Million
Maria Fassi had originally earned her LPGA Tour card in Decemeber 2018, however, she deffered membership until she was done with college the following year. She would end up making her pro debut at the 2019 U.S. Women’s Open where she finished T12. This is so far still her best finsh at a Major in her career.
In 2020, a year where sporting activities across the globe were cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Maria played in the Cooper Communities NWA Classic. The competition was a Women’s All Pro Tour event in Arkansas and it would give Maria her first victory as a pro. She would later make it to the Women’s PGA Champsionship where she manged a T54 finish.
In 2021, Maria Fassi played in the Evian Championhsip and finsihed T15. Her finishes in these competitions and others are what have contributed to her wealth.
