Jude Bellingham’s parents are Mark and Denise Bellingham. The English football player is of mixed ethnicity as his father, Mark Bellingham, is European, while his mother, Denise Bellingham, is of African origin.

Inspired by his father, a retired police officer who played as a prolific non-league striker for 20 years, Jude began playing football at a very young age. Rising to the challenge before him, Jude established himself on the soccer scene with his determination and talent. From making his senior debut at the age of 16 years to eventually choosing to play as a midfielder for the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, the young player has undoubtedly come a very long way.

Bellingham also plays as a midfielder for the English national team and has bagged all the spotlight and gained the admiration of many football fans around the world as he became England’s second youngest scorer to score in the World Cup. The young player scored England’s first goal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening against Iran in Qatar. Here is all you need to know about Jude Bellingham’s family.

His Father Mark Bellingham Played as a non-league Football Striker for 20 Years

He was a sergeant in the West Midlands Police before he retired from service to become a civilian. On November 14, 2022, he announced his retirement on his Twitter account, stating that he has now become a civilian after over 24 years of service.

Prior to joining the police force, Mark played football as a non-league striker. He played football for about 20 years, recording over 700 goals before quitting the sport in 2017. In 2009, he recorded 48 goals to secure promotion to the Southern Premier. Throughout his career, he starred for non-league clubs like Stourbridge, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Leamington, and Sutton Coldfield. Although Mark never made it to the league, he was an established player who was recognized amongst his opponents for his unique goal-scoring abilities and talent.

While Mark never played professional football, he has been an excellent coach to his son, Jude Bellingham. He inspired the youngster to take up football at a very young age and has embedded in him the non-league style of toughness and being tenacious. More than being a father and a coach, Mark played a significant part in Jude’s decision to play for Bundesliga Club Borussia Dortmund over Manchester United. According to reports, the retired police officer persuaded his son to join the Bundesliga club after watching the development of the England International Jadon Sancho.

His Mother, Denise Bellingham, is His Greatest Cheerleader

Like her oldest son, Jobe Bellingham is also a football player. He is currently playing as a midfielder/forward for the EFL Championship club Birmingham City.

Although Denise Bellingham seems to be a very private person, she does not shy away from supporting her sons. She regularly shares and hypes her sons’ success on her social media pages.
