Alex Eala’s brother, Michael ‘Miko’ Eala, also plays Tennis. He is presently playing for the Pennsylvania State University while studying. Alex Eala is the niece of Noli Eala, the Philippines Sports Commission (PSC) chairperson and one-time Philippine Basketball Association commissioner.
While applauding his niece following her exploits at the US Open Junior Grand Slam, Noli hailed her, saying that her name is in history as the country’s first-ever Grand Slam winner at Flushing Meadows in New York.
