For over three decades, Mitzi Testaverde has been the loving wife of former American football quarterback Vinny Testaverde. The duo were not together from the beginning as Vinny was previously married to another woman. Regardless, their love and union has shown that it is never the best option to give up on finding love again. Mitzi and Vinny have gone on to have a beautiful family while she has done tremendous work in her community as a court-appointed child advocate who helps abused and neglected children.
Mitzi Testaverde Married Vinny in 1991
Mitzi became Mrs. Testaverde after she married Vinny in 1991. With him being an NFL player at the time, it is believed that their wedding was a grand affair, however, details about it all are not public knowledge.
While it is not clear if Mitzi had ever been married before this union, we do know that her husband was previously married to a woman identified as Laura Gambucci. Because this marriage was his second one, and he was struggling with his career at the time, Vinny must have opted to have a lowkey wedding to not bring unwanted attention to himself or his wife.
Vinny’s first marriage to Laura lasted from 1988 to 1989. The duo met in 1987 and wedded in 1988 but only lasted for nine months together before they parted ways in 1989. According to reports, the couple broke up because of Vinny’s temper, something the athlete admitted to see a counselor for. Laura, who was an aerobics instructor, said she feared her husband at times and so opted to end things before it got out of hand.
Vinny Testaverde appears to have sorted all of his anger and temperament problems out as there have not been any problems between him and his wife of over three decades.

She Supported Her Husband Throughout His 21-Year Career in the NFL
Like almost every other wife or girlfriend out there, Mitzi Testaverde was very supportive of her husband throughout his career. She was with him from the time he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who drafted him 1st overall in 1987 to the time he became a journeyman.
After Vinny’s time in Tampa and his three-year stint with his next team, the Cleveland Browns, he became a journeyman and went on to play for five other teams in the NFL. They include the Baltimore Ravens (1996–1997), New York Jets (1998–2003; 2005), Dallas Cowboys (2004), New England Patriots (2006), and Carolina Panthers (2007).
As Vinny Testaverde moved from city to city to play for different, Mitzi and their kids were always by his side, providing all the support he needed to excel in the sport. While this might sound like a fun thing to do, getting to live in different cities across the United States, it was tasking for Mitzi as it meant that she and the kids always had to uproot their lives (packing and unpacking their household) anytime Vinny found employment elsewhere.
Regardless of the challenges, she appreciated the fact that her husband was providing for her and the kids so she was willing to go with him anywhere he went and support him.
