Gracia Benesho is an American health care professional who works as a nurse. She is, however, better known as the longtime girlfriend turned wife of ice hockey player Brady Skjei. Gracia has been by Brady’s side for many years, playing a pivotal behind-the-scenes role that has enabled him to succeed in his career. Her husband, who plays as a defenseman in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Carolina Hurricanes, was the 28th overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft.

Gracia Benoesho is the daughter of Carole and Steve Bonesho who works as a developer. Gracia has a younger sibling, a sister named Annalise Bonesho. She is from the same hometown as her partner Brady Skjei. The pair are from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul exurb of Lakeville in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Bonesho was not just scaling through her nursing program as she was an outstanding student. She made the Dean’s List in 2014 and 2015, the latter of which she earned a scholarship to complete before graduating in 2016.

Gracia Bonesho spent many years studying and working hard to become a health care professional. After achieving this in 2016 when she graduated, she began practicing at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Gracia was first hired as a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Observation/Short Stay Unit at NYU Langone Medical Center. She was later promoted to Senior Staff Nurse and after completing the AACN/UHC Nurse Residency Program for New Grads, she moved to the Mother/Baby Unit of the hospital in 2018. Since 2019, she has also held the position of Transition Nurse at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Brady Skjei and Gracia Bonesho Got Married in 2021
It is believed that Gracia Bonesho sought employment in New York after she became a Registered Nurse in 2016 so that she could be close to her boyfriend. Skjei had in 2015 signed a contract with the New York Rangers. Things appeared to have been going well between them as they were once again together but everything got complicated in 2020 after Skjei was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Regardless of the complications their working schedules brought to the table, Brady and Gracia would go ahead to exchange vows in August 2021. The pair appear to be very happy together as they frequently post photos of themselves out and about or spending quality time together.
